The MBG Expense Management executive management team collectively has more than 100 years experience working in the telecommunications and IT industries. The technical innovations and services they have provided has helped numerous corporations control telecommnications and IT costs. Through their leadership and guidance, MBG has been able to successfully automate billing and invoice operations, create flexible inventory applications, automate the provisioning process, and create easy to use chargeback applications that can distribute telecom and IT costs across an organizations dedicated hierarchy.
Michael B. Greenspan is the founder and chief executive officer of MBG Expense Management. He brings over 30 years of experience within the telecommunications industry as a network and software designer and telecommunications consultant to Fortune 500 clients.
During his career, Mr. Greenspan has worked on large-scale voice and data networks for AT&T’s Bell Laboratories, RCA American Communications, ITT and NA Phillips before establishing the consultancy that became MBG in 1977. Over the past five years he has directed MBG's focus on building integrated telecom expense management solutions that include:telecom inventory management , invoice processing, chargeback, and robust reporting capabilities.
He is a graduate of City College of New York with a degree in electrical engineering and received a master’s degree in electrical and medical engineering from Stanford University.
Lloyd McFarlane joined MBG in 1992 to strengthen the Company’s PC-based software development expertise. Since joining the Company, Mr. McFarlane has been instrumental in the design of MBG’s invoice presentation and chargeback systems, along with the automation of MBG’s internal processes for accepting billing data.
With more than 27 years experience in data processing, Mr. McFarlane has spent the past 18 years developing software in the field of telecommunications and IT chargeback. Many of the telecommunications service bureaus in the New York area have used Lloyd’s polling software to capture the primary data from their clients. This polling software has been transformed into MBG's call accounting solution which is designed for large enterprises that experience large call volumes.
Before joining MBG, Mr. McFarlane worked at Teldata Systems and as a consultant to telecommunications service bureaus. He also held technical and management positions with Peat Marwick and Mitchell, Columbia Records, and St. Regis Paper Company.
He is a graduate of Excelsior College with supplemental certificates in Mathematics and Physics from Cambridge University in London, England. In addition, he also studied Computer Science at New York University.
Reginald Johnson joined MBG in 2003, bringing with him more than 10 years experience in systems implementation. In his role, Mr. Johnson is responsible for managing new client implementations and overseeing operations for MBG.
Prior to joining MBG, Mr. Johnson has held several management positions in which he was responsible for the strategic planning, budgeting, and execution of global projects and managing members of the engaged project team. He also has experience growing and managing a consulting group. Included in that experience is a wealth of expertise in his ability to analyze existing operations and implementing the strategies, processes and technologies necessary to improve organizational performance and maximize ROI.
Throughout his career, Mr. Johnson has been client focused, working with clients to understand and meet their business requirements. He has engaged with clients such as Eastman Kodak, The New York Times Company, Pfizer, Gillette, ADP, Marsh and McLennan, and Applied Materials
