Skill Requirements:

Analysis and Solution Definition

• Quickly understands the business issues and data challenges of client's organization and industry.
• Identifies client organization's strengths and weaknesses and works with team to overcome challenges.
• Reviews and edits requirements, specifications, business processes related to solutions.
• Develops functional specifications and system design specifications for client engagements.
• Ability to interpret data, specifications, develop hypothesis and assess financial impact.

Technical Recommendation and Testing

• Leads testing efforts.
• Ensures issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner.

• Solid writing skills; must be able to write functional requirements, author large client deliverables, and thoroughly document client meetings.

• Possesses understanding in the areas of application programming, database and system design.
• Understands Internet, Intranet, Extranet and client/server architectures.
• Understands how legacy and web-based systems interface with each other.
• Experience with MS Access, and SQL.
• Ability to understand technical details, particularly as they relate to proposed technical solutions.

Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information systems or related field
• 5+ years experience as a Business Analyst with expertise in planning, design, testing and implementation.
• 3-5 years experience in a technical role, experience creating process flow diagrams for complex financial management processes including payment processing
• Consulting experience related telecom, accounting systems; reimbursable processes, data mapping, or financial system implementation.
